Independent school notice
Alazhar School is a private, independent online school. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of Al-Azhar University or Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. Some of our teachers are Al-Azhar University graduates or hold qualifications from Al-Azhar; each teacher’s credentials are stated individually after verification.
Child Online Safety (COPPA & GDPR)
Many of our students are children, and their safety shapes every part of our platform. We follow the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its special protections for minors.
- Parental consent first
- For learners under 13 (16 in some EU countries), we only collect personal information with verified consent from a parent or legal guardian, obtained during enrollment.
- Minimal data collection
- We collect only what a lesson needs: a name, contact details, course choices, and class records. We never sell, rent, or advertise to children, and students never appear in public areas of the site.
- Safe classrooms
- Lessons are private one-to-one sessions. Parents may request a summary of any class, and teachers must follow the school's professional-conduct and child-safety rules.
- Your rights
- Parents may review, correct, or delete their child's data at any time by emailing al.azhar.school.london@gmail.com. We respond to every request within 30 days.
24-Hour Class Rescheduling & Cancellation
We know family schedules change. Our flexible policy keeps learning consistent without locking you into missed lessons.
- Free changes up to 24 hours before
- Reschedule or cancel any scheduled class free of charge by contacting your teacher or our team on WhatsApp or email at least 24 hours before the start time.
- Less notice
- Requests made less than 24 hours before a class may be counted as delivered, because your teacher reserved that time exclusively for you. Genuine emergencies are always considered with understanding.
- Teacher-side changes
- If a teacher must move or miss a lesson, the class is rescheduled at your convenience or credited to a future month — it is never lost.
- Pausing your plan
- You may pause a monthly plan for travel, exams, or seasonal schedule shifts by notifying us before the next billing cycle.
30-Day Satisfaction Money-Back Guarantee
This section applies only when a written 30-day guarantee is shown on your invoice or enrollment confirmation. Ask the team to confirm eligibility before payment.

- From the date of your first paid class, you have 30 days to request a full refund of your first month — no interrogation, no hoops.

- Email al.azhar.school.london@gmail.com or message our WhatsApp line with your name and the word “refund.” We process approved refunds within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

Encrypted Payment Security
Payment security depends on the payment method and provider confirmed at enrollment. Never send card details through ordinary email or chat.

- Use only the payment method and secure checkout link confirmed by our team. Do not send complete card details by email, WhatsApp, or a contact form.
- Encrypted website connection
- Traffic to this website uses HTTPS/TLS. The security and compliance terms of any payment page are provided by the named payment provider at checkout.
- Transparent billing
- You receive a receipt by email for every payment, plans renew only with your consent, and you can cancel renewal at any time before the next cycle.
