In a time of endless messages and comments, this hadith is a simple filter: before you speak or type, ask whether it is good.
What it teaches
Good speech is a sign of faith. If words bring benefit, say them; if not, silence is better and safer.
“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.”
A three-question filter
Before speaking or posting, ask:
- Is it true?
- Is it kind?
- Is it useful?
