Earning an Ijazah online follows the same path students have taken for centuries — only the classroom is now a video call. These are the steps most of our students follow.
1. Free placement class
Your teacher listens to your recitation and tells you honestly whether you can start the Ijazah now or need a short Tajweed review first. You can book a free trial class at any time.
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
“The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.”
2. Polish your Tajweed
Small, repeated mistakes must be fixed before the formal recitation. This stage usually focuses on makharij, Ghunnah, Madd and stopping rules.

3. The full recitation
You recite the entire Quran to the teacher, part by part, in regular live sessions. Every mistake is corrected on the spot.
- 3–5 sessions weekly is typical
- Recitation from memory or from the Mushaf, depending on the Ijazah type
- A progress record after each session
4. Receiving the Ijazah
When the recitation is complete and accurate, the teacher writes the Ijazah with the chain of teachers. Ready to begin? See how we teach Quran online.
